Fall festivities and Halloween

I had a really good time celebrating Everett's first Halloween this year. It was so cute to see him dressed up! My mom came down and took Everett and me to a Fall Festival close to where we live. He got to pet a donkey and a camel... but really he was more interested in trying to get down on the ground so he could eat wood chips. I am looking forward to next year when he might be able to play some of the games or look at the animals more... because I LOVE fall festivals :)
The weekend before Halloween, Jon's mom came to visit and play with Everett. She stayed until Halloween Monday, and then took Everett to school so she could go on his first field trip! His little class strolled around down town Eatonton and did some trick or treating! So cute! He got a ton of junky candy that nobody wanted, but the best part was his costume. He was dressed like Yoda from Star Wars.  Annette said several people thought he was Shrek. Whatever, he was the best one anyway. I know she had a great time too. Even Daddy went down and met the two of them so he could go trick or treating with Everett!
Halloween evening, we all went over to our friends', the Craines, neighborhood and went trick or treating with them and their two kids.  They have a son, Cooper, who is 2 weeks older than Everett, and a daughter, Harper, who is two and a half. The boys strolled and were just along for the ride. I had a lot of fun walking with Harper, though! She is the smartest two year old I've ever met and she sure did make it entertaining!
All in all, every activity we did this year was a blast and I can't wait to celebrate the next big holiday with both my wonderful boys!
